Obituary
Richard "Butch" Leland Fanning, age 73 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away Saturday, April 22, 2017 in Harrison.
The son of Oscar and Georgie (Lowery) Fanning was born on June 2, 1943 in Fort Worth, Texas.
Richard liked hunting, fishing and watching football. He especially loved to spend time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father; a brother, Larry Fanning; a son-in-law, Mark Davidson and a great-grandchild, Shantay.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Fanning of Harrison, Arkansas; his mother, Georgie Fanning Epner of Harrison; 3 sons, Jason Fanning and wife Elizabeth of Denver, Colorado, Michael Fanning and wife Janet of Lakehead, California and Cory Fanning of Colorado Springs, Colorado; 2 daughters, Dawn Davidson of Oceanside, California and Deanna Sutton and husband Rick of Bergman, Arkansas; 6 grandchildren, Shane, Chase, Dakota, Kayla, Matthew and Nick; 4 great-grandchildren, Audrey, Jordan, London and Olivia and many other family and friends who will mourn his passing.
A Celebration of Life will be held by the family and then he will return to Colorado.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Richard's name to Hospice of the Hills, 501 E. Sherman, Harrison, AR 72601.
Arrangements are under the direction of Coffman Funeral Home of Harrison. Online condolences may be left at www.coffmanfh.com .
