Richard Bruffett, age 66 of Harrison, AR passed away Friday, December 21, 2007 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center, in Harrison.
The son of Louis and Bertha (Hooker) Bruffett, was born June 24, 1941 in Jasper, MO.
His parents preceded him in death.
Richard was a 1976 graduate of Rhema Bible Training Center in Broken Arrow, OK and had lived in the Harrison area for thirty years. He was a charter member of Shiloh Baptist Church and was also a board member for the church. He had been a residential contractor for over forty years.
Survivors are his wife, Linda (Watkins) Bruffett, of the home; daughter, Sara Ford and her husband, Greg, of Mountain Home; sons, Stephen Bruffett and wife, Susan, of Leawood, KS, Jamin Bruffett and wife, Kim of Harrison; step-daughter, Jill Langham and her husband, Mike, of Springdale; step-son, Steven Tucker and wife, Vicki of Harrison; brothers, Gene Bruffett, of Eagle Rock, MO, and Paul Bruffett and Bob Bruffett, both of Jasper, MO; and six grandchildren, Cole Ford, Chance Covan, Chelsea Covan, Rachel Langham, Porter Langham, and Tanner Langham.
Visitation was Sunday, December 23, 2007 with service, Monday, December 24, 2007, both at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Harrison. Rev. Heath Kirkpatrick will officiate. Burial followed in Bellefonte Cemetery. Pallbearers were family and friends. Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Sam Scroggins, Bo Cook, Ken Marquis, and Chuck Toth.
