Rhonda Dalene Middleton, age 63, of Jasper, Arkansas, passed away at home on Wednesday, December 18, 2024.

The daughter of Joan (Pearce) Henson was born January 23, 1961 in Kansas City, Missouri. She has been a resident of Newton County most of her life and attended Bethlehem Church in Mount Judea. She always enjoyed going to church when she was able.

Rhonda was a beautiful soul, with a big, kind heart. She was generous and would give you the shirt off her back. She loved to play with her grandbabies and spoil them every chance she had. They never heard the word "no" from her.

She was one of a kind, and genuine, never putting on a front for anyone. She loved her family deeply.

Rhonda was so loved by her daughter, Jennifer, and all her family. She will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her son, Joshua Leon Middleton; and a stepson, Shannon Middleton. Rhonda's family believes that her passing has finally reunited her with her son, Joshua. She never gave up hope of finding him for nearly 20 years.

Rhonda is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Zabawa and husband, Chad, stepdaughter, Tracy Middleton; her husband, David Middleton; her mother and stepfather, Blue and Joan Henson; her brothers, Gary Henson (Debbie) and Larry Henson (Cheryl); 8 grandchildren, Ashley (Dustin) Blevins, Michelle (Tony) Malnory, Christopher Waits, Cory (Sheree) Campbell, Joshanna Middleton (Sam Osborne), Lakyn Zabawa, Shalyee Zabawa, and Heaven Zabawa; her first great grandbaby on the way; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended relatives and many friends.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
