Raymond Duane Spring suddenly went home to be with the Lord on July 19, 2020. He was born on August 23, 1950, in Cleveland, Ohio the son of Duane and Frances Spring. He was preceded in death by his parents Duane and Frances Spring, and a sister Lynn Doskocil.

Ray moved at the age of 2 from Cleveland, Ohio and resided 67 years in the Dallas Ft. Worth, Texas area where he was a member of the Gateway Church North Richland Hills Campus. Raymond was a licensed journeyman electrician. Ray liked playing pool and dominoes with family and friends and could be considered very competitive.  He loved riding motorcycles and did so until his sudden and unexpected homecoming.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Jane (Cooper) Spring of Haltom City, Texas; a son and daughter in law, John and Meghan Cooper of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and granddaughter Hayle Kay who melted her "G's" heart.  He is also survived by sister Charlotte and husband David Brooks of White Settlement, Texas; brother Gary and wife Christie Spring of Arlington, Texas; brother-in-law John K Cooper of Goshen, Arkansas; and brother-in-law Phillip D. and wife Theresa A. Cooper of Deer, Arkansas.

A graveside celebration of Raymond's life will be held at 10 AM, on Monday, July 27, 2020, at the Deer Cemetery, Deer, Arkansas, with Pastor Jerry Patton officiating. Pallbearers will be John T. Cooper, Conley S. Cooper, Powell Cummingham, Jeff Phillips, Dave Williams, and Mike Webster.  Honorary pallbearers are Phillip D. Cooper and John K. Cooper.
