Raymond L. Blevins, age 92 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away Saturday, June 13, 2015 in Harrison.
The son of Clossie Golden and Rachel Elizabeth (Abel) Blevins was born on June 22, 1922 in Harrison, Arkansas.
Raymond served his country in the United States Army during World War II, then became a farmer for the remainder of his working career. He was a member of the First Assembly of God in Harrison and enjoyed golfing.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two wives, Velma (Jackson) Blevins and Vesta (Allred) Blevins.
He is survived by 2 sons, Mark Blevins and wife Karla of Omaha, Nebraska and Reggie Blevins and wife Lynn of Western Grove, Arkansas; 3 brothers, Marvin Blevins of Harrison, Arkansas, Zenas Blevins of Sullivan, Missouri and Sherman Blevins of Branson, Missouri; 2 sisters, Velma Sue Lawrence of Kansas City, Missouri and Mary Mable Tarvin of Chickamauga, Georgia; 7 granddaughters and 16 great grandchildren.
Services will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at 10:00 am at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Harrison. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Chapel.
Pallbearers include friends and family. Honorary pallbearers are members of First Assembly of God and the staff of Hillcrest Home.
