Obituary
Randall L. "Randy" Ballard passed away Thursday, September 23, 2010 at the Hospice House in Harrison, Arkansas at the age of 68.
A son of James Owen and Dorothy Myrtle (Martin) Ballard was born May 7, 1942 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
He was a brick layer and a mechanic and had moved to Newton County from Indianapolis, Indiana around 1969.
"Randy" was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, "Billy", "Danny" and infant twin brothers and one sister, Beverly.
Survivors are his children, Kenneth Ballard, Nelson Ballard, Jerry Ballard, Randy Ballard, Jr., Jimmy Ballard, David Ballard and Retha Ballard; four brothers, Joseph "Hippie Joe" Ballard and Albert Ballard both of Jasper, AR, Arvie Ballard and Stevie Ballard both of Indianapolis, IN; two sisters, Phyllis Reed of California and Terrie Ballard of Jasper, AR and several grandchildren.
A memorial service was held Saturday, September 25, 2010 at the family home.
