Randall Lee Campbell, age 46 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away Sunday, December 12, 2010 at Hospice of the Hills Hospice House in Harrison. He was born January 13, 1964 in Harrison, Arkansas, the son of Alton and Verdell Campbell of Jasper.
He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, landscaping, gardening and his beloved hound dog, Rocky. Randy loved people very much and never met a stranger.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Columbus and Lucille Smith of Vendor, Kenneth and Juanita Bohannon and Kingston Campbell all of Jasper; an uncle, Rabon Campbell of Springfield, MO and his father-in-law, Larry King of Diamond City.
Randy is survived by his parents, Alton and Verdell Campbell of Jasper; his loving wife, Sherri Campbell of Harrison; one son, Cody Campbell of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Clarissa and Bobby Mangrum also of Harrison; one grandchild, Lilly Mangrum; two sisters, and their husbands, Theresa and Lonnie Ewing of Fayetteville and Kim and Sam Dye of Mt. Judea; one brother, Darren Campbell of Jasper; a very special uncle and aunt, Glen and Vivian Smith of Vendor; his mother-in-law, Deanne Lueders-King of Harrison; a brother-in-law and his wife, Barry and Velda Lueders of Conway; a sister-in-law and her husband, Lisa Best and Mark Sanchez of Harrison; three nieces, Kristen and her husband, Carey Hampton of West Fork, Allison Ewing of Fayetteville and Alisha Best of Harrison; two nephews, Dylan and Alex Dye both of Mt. Judea and two great nephews, Peyton and Paxton Hampton both of West Fork. He also left behind many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, December 16th with the funeral at 2 p.m. Friday, December 17th both at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper. Services will be officiated by Rev. Rick Posey and Rev. Rex Middleton.
Burial will be in the Jasper Cemetery under the direction of Coffman Funeral Home of Jasper.
Pallbearers include David Campbell, Kevin Honeycutt, Michael Campbell, Larry Carter, Barry Lueders, Michael O'Neal, Bobby Mangrum and Gary Smith. Honorary pallbearers include Cameron Bolin, Rondal Campbell, Ricky Davis, Bobby Keeton, Jerry Dale Kilburn, Greg Norton and Bruce Spears.
The family would also like to give special recognition to the staff of Hospice of the Hills in Harrison for all their wonderful care and assistance.
