Ramona Carrol Heffley, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock at the age of 80.

The daughter of Errol and Iva (Woodard) Haynes was born in Lurton, Arkansas on April 8, 1938.

She is preceded in death by, her mother, Iva Haynes, father, Errol Haynes, and 3 sisters, Colleen Rongey, Phyllis Dennis, Patsy Coonts.

She is survived by, her husband-of 65 yrs, EL Heffley; their son Mark; Twin brother Earrol Ray Haynes; several nieces and nephews; and adopted grandchildren.

Carrol was a very sweet person that loved to travel, Loved to paint, Loved family, Loved to take a trip every year  with her friends to do some extended shopping. Out of over some 30 years of family reunions, Carrol only missed one or 2, showing that family was important to her. She always had a smile for her friends that would light up a room, even as she battled cancer. She was a selfless friend that never minced words, and always tried to encourage others. She always spoke kindly of others, focusing on their good qualities.

Carrol was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on June 03 , 1972. One of her favorite things to do was to tell others about her loving God Jehovah and the hope that the Bible holds out for the future of mankind. She looked forward to a time that death will be no more, and funerals will be a thing of the past. When all of mankind will be at peace under God's Kingdom.

Carrol, we look forward to welcoming you back to life!

There will be a full memorial on Saturday March 2nd at 11:00 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. 10412 Mabelvale West Rd. Mabelvale AR 72103.

Graveside services will be held Friday, February 22, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Tarlton Cemetery in Lurton with Brady Day officiating.

Pallbearers are Bill Heffley, Kevin Daniel, Chad Daniel, John Rongey, Rob Rongey and Scott Rongey.
