Obituary
Ralph J. Jeka, age 89 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison.
The son of John and Paula Jeka, he was born September 21, 1919 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
He worked in the nursery/landscaping business while living in California. His local friends will remember him for his ability for his ability to expertly reburbish antique furniture.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Harold and grandson, Nick.
Survivors are his wife of 35 years, E. Ellen Jeka; five sons, Russ Jeka of Simi Valley, California, Roger Jeka and his wife, Angela of Conoga Park, California, Duane Jeka and his wife, Lauri of Thousand Oaks, California, Cloyd Passmore and his wife, Judy of Harrison, and Robert Passmore of Harrison; a daughter, Dona Krisanitis of Harrison; fifteen grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Crossroads Community Church, 2658 Old Bergman Road, Harrison, Arkansas 72601.
Cremation arrangements are being handled by Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.
There is no service planned at this time.
