Ralph Franklin Ireland, age 65 of Fayetteville, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2024.

The son of Dudley Ross Ireland and Jane Ann (Gilbert) Ireland was born January 13, 1959 in Atlanta, Georgia.

He was a veteran of the US Army and had spent many years working in residential construction.

Ralph was widely known as "The Wooden Man" for his talented woodworking skills. He was a gifted artist making many wooden sculptures and wood art pieces. Ralph was a beloved member of the art community in Eureka Springs and he was very proud of the wooden butterflies he had been making and donating to Circle of Life Hospice. He was also passionate about giving back to his community by serving in shelters and food banks.

Ralph was a unique person and "his own kind of beautiful". He loved to laugh and he loved everyone from family, friends, and neighbors in his own way. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Jane Joffee; a brother, David Ireland; and his son, Derek Ireland.

Ralph is survived by his children, April Irvin (Jeremy), Camille Ireland-Esquivel (Amanda), Elizabeth Morrison, Cheyenne Ireland (Brittany), Amber Ireland, and Kara Roundy (Doug): his father, Dudley Ross Ireland; his brothers, Jerome Joffee, Danny Ireland, and Dewayne Ireland; his sisters, Donna Ireland and Leanora Joffee; 16 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.

Services will be private.
