Obituary
Polly Mary Chisum, of Ben Hur, Arkansas passed away Thursday, September 21, 2017 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock at the age of 81.
The daughter of Bruce and Martha (Standridge) Collins was born May 2, 1936 at Ben Hur.
Polly was a homemaker and a resident of Newton County most of her life. She was a member of Falling Water Pentecostal Church and dearly loved her church family. She loved to paint and sing. Polly was very loved by her family and will be missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert Chisum, her parents, Bruce and Martha Collins; a step-son, Ellis Lynn Chisum, a step-daughter, Patricia Frances Taylor, 3 step-grandsons, six brothers and two sisters.
Polly is survived by her step-son, Bob Chisum of OK; step-son-in-law, David Taylor of OK; her brother, John Collins of Ben Hur; two sisters, Blanche Hollowoa of Russellville and Pauline Harmon of Tilly; one step-grandson and one step-great granddaughter and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, September 25, 2017 at Moore Cemetery in Ben Hur with Rev. Leonard Bob Chisum officiating. Pallbearers will be her nephews. No visitation will be held.
Services under the direction of Coffman Funeral Home of Jasper. On-line condolences may be left at coffmanfh.com.
