PJ Harris, age 92, of Harrison, AR, passed from this life on November 2nd, 2023 at Hillcrest Home.

He was born in Marshall, AR on July 14, 1931 to Ras Harris and Rilla (Mathis) Harris.

PJ was a veteran of the US Army, serving 23 months in Okinawa during the Korean War.  PJ spent his working years as a carpenter, painter and school maintenance worker.  He enjoyed making daily trips to WalMart, doing word search puzzles and watching old westerns and professional wrestling.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Cathy Ann Robinette; two brothers, Riley and Paul Ray; and two sisters, Bernell Emmons and Ressie Blough.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Molly Harris; grandson Paul Harris, and granddaughter, Destiny Harris, all of Valley Springs, AR.

Visitation is Sunday, November 5 from 4:00-6:00 pm at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison, AR.  Graveside service is Monday, November 6, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Canaan Cemetery near Marshall, AR with Donnie Chisum officiating. Pallbearers will be friends and family.  Honorary pallbearers will be staff members of Hillcrest Home in Harrison, AR.
