Peter Jacob Vasconcellos, a beautiful baby boy, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, August 11, 2024 at Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas.

The son of Scott David and Katie Nicole (McIlvain) Vasconcellos was born on June 19, 2024 in Mtn. Home, Arkansas.

Peter was born with striking dark eyes and hair, and he was an irresistibly happy and lovable baby. He had a unique and endearing voice that was truly his own. Throughout his life, Peter showed incredible resilience and bravery, battling his condition with a courageous spirit every single day.

He is survived by his parents, Scott and Katie Vasconcellos; four siblings, Noah James Vasconcellos, Gianna Marie Vasconcellos, Emma Jean Vasconcellos, and David Joseph Vasconcellos; his paternal grandparents, Kevin and Lizabeth Vasconcellos; his maternal grandparents, Stacy (Tyler) Waldroup and Rory (Robin) McIlvain; and a host of other family.

Memorial Mass will be Friday, August 23, 2024 at 10:00 AM at St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Yellville.  Burial will follow the Mass at Mary Mother of God Catholic Cemetery in Harrison.
