Perna "Pernie" Loretta McGrew, of Harrison, formerly of Marion County, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at the age of 81.

The daughter of John and Madge (Zeigler) King was born October 23, 1935 at Peel, Arkansas.

She was a homemaker and member of Peel Full Gospel Church. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, cooking, flower gardening, visiting on the phone, going to thrift stores and "rummaging". Pernie was a sweet, good hearted, genuine person who loved her family. She was devoted and caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Park McGrew, a son, Bobby Wayne McGrew, 2 sisters and 7 brothers.

Pernie is survived by her son, Harold McGrew and wife Carol of Bergman, two daughters, Loretta "Susie" Taylor and Tracy Jones and husband Steven all of Harrison; five grandchildren, Dena Fultz and husband Mark, Carla Stewart and husband Josh, Nick Stewart and wife Kim, Travis Taylor and Jayce Jones; seven great grandchildren, Zack, Hadassah and Harbor Stewart, Asher, Judah, Zion and Ireland Fultz and several nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Graveside services are at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at Locust Cemetery near Lead Hill with Carroll "Curley" Johnson officiating.

Visitation is Monday from 6-8 PM at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.

Pallbearers are Jimmy Doss Riggs, Doyan Riggs, Nick Stewart, Travis Taylor, Steve Jones and Jayce Jones.

Honorary pallbearers are her Great Grandsons and Owen Blackwell, Randy King, Geneva King, Aaron Patterson, The Dixon Boys, Cleta McCracken, Jean Baker, Wilma Boob, Jimmy Nalley and Joel Merriman.
