Penelope Jean Bennett's Obituary
Penelope "Penny" Jean Bennett, age 77, of Diamond City, Arkansas, passed away April 10, 2015 in Harrison, Arkansas.
The daughter of Russell Charles and Jean A. (Drummond) Cariotto was born on May 7, 1937 in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Penelope moved to Diamond City in 2005, coming from Fitzgerald, Georgia. She was a veteran of the United States Navy, a member of Magnolia Rebekahs, and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
She was preceded by her parents.
She is survived by her husband Don, of the home; children, Joy J. Black of Diamond City, Arkansas, Jerry R. Bennett of Aberdeen, South Dakota, Donald L. Bennett of Douglas, Georgia and Karen A. Bennett of Maryville, Tennessee; two sisters, Annette Roth of Lincoln, Nebraska and Icel Heaton of Omaha, Nebraska; and 5 grandchildren.
Memorial Service was held Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Lighthouse Bible Church in Diamond City.
