Peggy Lee Leonard, of Harrison, passed away on Monday, June 13, 2022 at her home.  She was 84 years old.

The daughter of George Wendall and Margaret Jane (Shelton) Jackman was born on September 9, 1937 in Anderson, Indiana.

Peggy was an active member of Restoration Life Fellowship Church and enjoyed volunteering for any and all activities at the church.  When her children were young, Peggy also enjoyed volunteering her time as a Little League Coach and a Cub Scout Leader.  In her later years, Peggy thoroughly enjoyed volunteering her time at The Springs of Harrison nursing home.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Jane (Shelton) Jackman; her father and stepmother, George and Anna Jackman; one son, James Allen Cunningham; son-in-law, Timothy Daniel; stepson, John Leonard; stepdaughter, Debbie King; eight brothers; and one sister.

Survivors include her husband, James S. Leonard; one son, Donald Lee Cunningham; one daughter, Linda Daniel; one stepson, James R. Leonard and his wife, Sarah; one stepdaughter, Nancy Baker and her husband, Bobby; one brother and his wife, Robert and Sue Jackman; numerous grandchildren, including, April and Shannon, Tiffaney and Samantha and Aaron; and great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Restoration Life Fellowship Church.  Pastor Ricky Stone will officiate.
