IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Pebble Jean
Ellis
June 10, 1945 – March 7, 2025
Pebble Jean Ellis, of Western Grove, Arkansas, passed away Friday, March 7, 2025 at Willard Walker Hospice House in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She was welcomed into the arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ at the age of 79.
The daughter of Coy and Gelene (Hallum) Wagoner was born June 10, 1945 in Deer, Arkansas. Pebble was a 1962 graduate of Harrison High School and a lifelong resident of Newton and Boone Counties. She retired from Flexsteel Industries after working there for over 25 years.
Jean was a devoted member of The Grove Church (Western Grove First Baptist Church). She had served as church secretary for many years and taught Sunday School. She always enjoyed weekly bible studies that she taught in her home.
The two most important things to her were faith and family. She was always kind and compassionate. Pebble had a list of priorities, and they were in order from Jesus, Family, Gardening, Fishing, Camping, and Elvis. She loved being outdoors and looked forward to wetting a hook every chance she had.

Jean is survived by her daughters, Debby LaFollette and fiancée Steve Riley, Cindy Evenson and husband, Kelly (Pebble's proclaimed favorite), and Lynn Johnson; 6 grandchildren, Chris (Valerie) Trammell, Shawn Dillon, Dustin (Amber) Dillon, Kenny Laxson, Trever Laxson, and Shaley Brown; 14 great grands, McKinsey, Hailey, Damion, Arianna Jo, Aztin, Sylvia, Kade, Sylas, Xander, Cree, Amara, Amethyst, Trever Jr., and Maxx; two nephews, Craig Counts and Steven Counts; and many dear friends.
