Enoch Paul Sheppard, age 81 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away Wednesday February 16, 2011 at Apple Ridge Health and Rehabilitation in Harrison.

The son of Luther Wayne Sheppard and Ethel (Cardail) Sheppard was born on July 29, 1929 in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Before moving to Arkansas, he lived in LaPorte City, Iowa and was employed by Standard Manufacturing in Cedar Falls, Iowa. He then moved to Harrison and has lived here for the last 35 years where he managed rental properties.

His parents preceded him in death, along with two brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include his wife, Opal (Smith) Sheppard of the home; one son, Kennard Brent Sheppard and wife Jeannett of Harrison; one daughter, Kimberly Curtis and husband Roger of Harrison; four grandchildren, Michael Rhoades of Vendor, Haily Carter of Harrison, Nathan and Aubrey Sheppard of Harrison; and four great-grandchildren. He is also survived by one brother, Andrew Sheppard of Louisiana; and two sisters, Katherine Hacker of Tennessee and Rachel Crouch of Little Rock, Arkansas.

Visitation will be held Friday, February 18 from 6 to 8 pm at the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Harrison. Services will be held at the chapel on Saturday, February 19 at 10:00 am with Pastor Nathan Hargrave officiating. Burial will be at Sand Hill Cemetery near Western Grove.

Pallbearers include Brian Johnson, Roger Curtis, Michael Rhoades, Ronnie Andrews, Jeff Sharp and Jay Hughes.
