Obituary
Paul Robert Groth, age 76 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away Monday, September 5, 2016 in Harrison.
The son of John and Evelyn (Marzahl) Gerling was born on July 6, 1940 in Chicago, Illinois.
Paul enjoyed hunting, fishing, coaching and playing basketball. He loved spending time with his family and being involved in his church.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn Gerling.
He is survived by his wife, Toddie Groth of Harrison; 3 daughters, Amy Groth of Lawrence, Kansas, Becky Chaney of Harrison and Carrie Ann Fila and husband Jordan of Harrison; his father, John Gerling of Harrison; a brother, James Gerling and wife Pauline of Harrison; 4 grandchildren, Chelsea and husband Darren Parker, Nico, Christian and Grace; 2 great-grandchildren, Autumn and Zoey and many other family and friends who will mourn his passing.
Memorial services will be held Friday, September 9, 2016 at 10:00 am at the Red Oak Baptist Church in Harrison with Brother Gary Crawford officiating.
The family wishes in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the Red Oak Baptist Church, PO Box 2174, Harrison, AR 72602.
