Obituary
Patricia Ann Horton, age 79 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away Friday, September 12, 2014 at Hospice of the Hills House in Harrison.
She was born July 28, 1935 to Charley and Lutha Williams in Stigler, Oklahoma. Pat married Jim Horton on August 26, 1960.
Pat was a graduate from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Elementary Education. She taught pre-school and kindergarten for about 40 years and retired from Eagle Heights Elementary School in Harrison. She loved reading her Bible and was very involved with various church activities. She also loved working with small children and had a passion to assist them in learning and growing. Pat was a member of Liberty Missionary Baptist church.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her husband, Jim Horton, of the home, a sister, Mildred Payne and a brother, Kennith Williams, both of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and other nephews and nieces and brother and sister-in-laws.
Visitation was held for family and friends Tuesday, September 16, at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.
Funeral services were Wednesday, September 17, 2014, also at Coffman Funeral Home.
Burial followed in Maplewood Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Bill Bunch, Danny Wilkinson, Steve McEntire, Dale Thorne, Spencer Woods, and Todd Horton.
