Roy Park McGrew, age 86 of Yellville, Arkansas passed away Sunday, September 21, 2014 at Highlands of Harrison Tims in Harrison, Arkansas.
The son of Benjamin Franklin McGrew and Jennie Ann (Stinnett) McGrew was born November 2, 1927 in Marion County, Arkansas.
Park was a farmer. He loved hunting, fishing and gardening.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Bobby Wayne McGrew; two brothers; and six sisters.
Survivors are his wife of 62 years, Perna (King) McGrew of the home; children, Harold McGrew and wife Carol, Loretta "Susie" Taylor, and Tracy Jones and husband Steve, all of Harrison; sister, Bennie Ann Dixon of Lead Hill; five grandchildren, Dena Fultz, Carla Stewart, Nick Stewart, Travis Taylor, and Jayce Jones; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.
Graveside service was Thursday, September 25, 2014 at Locust Cemetery in Lead Hill with Curley Johnson officiating.
Pallbearers were Nick Stewart, Travis Taylor, Steve Jones, Robert Dixon, Mark Fultz, and Josh Stewart.
Honorary pallbearers were Aaron Patterson, Charles Dixon, Jayce Jones, Zack Stewart, and Bob Taylor.
