Obituary

Pamela Jean Rowe, of Harrison, Arkansas, passed away at home on Wednesday, October 5, 2022.  She was 63 years old.

The daughter of Lex Gene and Edna (Sisco) McCormick was born April 23, 1959, in Harrison.  She was a graduate of Harrison High School Class of 1977, and also received an Associates Degree in IT at North Arkansas College. Pam lived in Boone County most of her life and was of Southern Baptist faith.

Pam spent several years working for Levi-Strauss, White-Rodgers Emerson Electric and NARMC.  She loved her volunteer work with the Bergman Fire Department and First Responders from 2000-2011.  She continued to serve the department as her health permitted after she retired in 2011.

She was an avid crafter.  She loved counted cross-stitch, quilling, knitting and crochet.  If you knew Pam, you knew she was stubborn, strong-willed, opinionated, and a little feisty.  If she believed in something, she was passionate about her belief.  Her fierce determination kept her going and helped her overcome every health obstacle thrown her way, especially in the last 4 years.

Pam loved her family and was a proud wife, mother and Nana.  She was loyal to you whether you were blood or not.  She was all about her grandkids when she was able, and she loved them dearly.  Pam also loved fur babies, Boone and Lazarus.  Lazarus never left her side while she was ill.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lex and Edna McCormick, grandparents, and a brother, Johnny Brent McCormick.

Survivors are her husband and love of her life for 38 years, Bob Rowe; two sons, Brent Rowe, and wife Jamie and Jarrett Rowe, and wife, Ashley; four grandchildren, Ember and Lillian Rowe, and Skylar and Lexie Rowe; uncles, Jerry McCormick and wife Pat, and Jim Sisco and wife Barbara; her father and mother-in-law, Charles and Lillian "Gerry" Rowe; sisters-in-law, Sharon Davis and husband Jimmy, and Cathy Wolfe; her caregiver, Laura Taylor; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended relatives and dear friends who loved her and will miss her.

Funeral service will be at 2 PM, Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Harrison with Pastor Matthew Kerley officiating.

Visitation is Monday from 5 PM – 7 PM at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Ralph Jones, Ryan Jones, Johnny Burnett, Todd Rogers, Colby Rogers, Larry Davidson, and Kent McCormick.  Honorary pallbearers are the EMS Honor Guard and NARMC EMS.
