Pamela Rae Drewry, of Hot Springs, AR, formerly of Harrison, passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at Hospice of Texarkana in Texas at the age of 69.

She was born September 12, 1948 in Aberdeen, South Dakota. She spent several years living in Renton, Washington before moving to Harrison in 1978. In 2007, she moved to Hot Springs to live near her family. She was of Lutheran faith.

Pamela loved animals, she was always taking in strays to care for them and she cherished her "babies", her two dogs, Toby and Maggie and her cat, Charlie. She was a hard worker, spending many years' cattle farming. She also enjoyed flower gardening and traveling. She loved her family and her granddaughter was her pride and joy. She was a loving caregiver, and took care of several members of her family over the years. She was quick to put the needs of others ahead of her own; her selfless spirit was admired by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Arlyss (Jerke) Spitzer her husband James Drewry in 1982 and her special friend, Terry Jones.

Pamela is survived by her son, Marcus Drewry and wife Kim, and her granddaughter, Katie Drewry all of Texarkana, TX; her brother, Terry Jerke and wife Patricia of Cle Elum, WA; three sisters, Suzette Jennings and husband Dave and Colleen Hill and husband Steve, all of Ocean Shores, WA, and Patricia Douglas and husband Frank of Spanaway, WA; two aunts, Millie Herzog of Tacoma, WA and Martha Jerke of Aberdeen, SD; and many other relatives and friends who loved her and will miss her.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Harrison with Pastor Michael Wanner officiating. Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM Monday, December 4 at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Ron Lowery, Jerry Norvell, Barry Bowman, Duane Young, Tony Carter and Matt Sprenger.
