Obituary
Orvin Ricketts, age 61 of Harrison, passed away Monday, Feb. 2, 2009 at his home.
The son of John and Daisy (Martin) Ricketts, he was born Aug. 23, 1947 at Piercetown, Arkansas.
He worked as a floor coverer and also enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time with his friends and working on his farm. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandson, Aaron.
His parents preceded him in death along with one son, Chris Ricketts; two brothers, Roy and Gary Ricketts.
Surviving is his wife of the home, Gail (Baker) Ricketts; one son and his wife, Michael and Robin Ricketts of Harrison; two brothers, Dorwin and Ronnie Ricketts both of Piercetown; two sisters, Johnnie Collins of Harrison and Vona Coleman of Clarksville; a grandson, Aaron Ricketts; and 2 step granddaughters, Whitney Suggs and Wendie Pearson.
Open visitation was Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning with the service Thursday, at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Western Grove Cemtery. Bro. Charles Christian officiated.
Pallbearers were Bill and Gary Coleman, Randy Marshall, Jonathon, Roger and Wesley Ricketts.
