Onzalee Carlton, age 77 of Murray, Arkansas passed away Thursday, November 5, 2015 at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, Arkansas.

The daughter of Joseph Charlie and Mary Luella (Ramsey) Vaughn was born on September 13, 1938 at Wayton, Arkansas.

She was a wonderful wife, mother and memaw. She had a servants heart and was greatly loved by her family and friends. She was strong in her faith and now has reached her Heavenly reward. She attended the Buffalo Church and had lived most of her life in Newton County.

"Onzalee's Café" was always open and she was willing to feed anyone who dropped in. Her chocolate rolls were a family favorite. She also enjoyed singing and gardening.

She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters and three brothers.

Survivors are her husband, Ford Carlton of Murray, AR; one son, Richard Carlton of Springdale, AR; two daughters, Wanda Gehrke of Springdale, AR and Sandra Rogers of Siloam Springs, AR; one brother, R.C. Vaughn and one sister, Lucille Ball both of Springdale, AR; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren; and many other friends and family.

Services will be 2 p.m. Monday, November 9, 2015 at the Mossville United Baptist Church with Billy Paul Matlock and Bobby Young officiating. Burial will follow in the Mossville Cemetery under the direction of Coffman Funeral Home of Jasper. No visitation.

Pallbearers will be Jim Carlton, Charlie Carlton, Mike Rogers, Gary Gehrke, Chris Carlton and Dustin Carlton. Honorary pallbearers will be Stanton Willis, Shawn Willis and Anthony McCutcheon.
