Ona Pearl (Daniels) Dixon, age 87 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away July 30, 2012 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison.
The daughter of Columbus and Lena Mae (Graham) Daniels was born July 2, 1925 at Murray, Arkansas.
Ona was a homemaker and a former teacher's aide. She enjoyed crocheting and picking up and cracking walnuts. She loved going on family outings and her dog "Babydoll".
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Eugene Dixon; brothers, Leslie and Willie Daniels; sisters, Alpha and Gracie Daniels, Ida Whittenburg, and Vergie Yackel; and grandchildren, Melissa and Nathan Marshall.
She is survived by her children, Genie (Rick) Hall of Elm Springs, Arkansas, Freda Marshall (Shane Anderson) of Harrison, Linda Dutton (Terry LyBeck) of Fayetteville, and Leta Price (Mark) of Harrison; sister, Inez Cain of Parthenon, Arkansas; sister-in-law, Pauline Daniels of Harrison; eight grandchildren, Angie Nalley, Emmett and J.D. Hall, Chris and Michael Dutton, Susan Asher, Ashley Knapp, and Kayla Caudle; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6-8 P.M. Wednesday, August 1, 2012 with service 10 A.M. Thursday, August 2, 2012 both at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison. Gerry Bryant will officiate the service.
Burial will follow in Warner Cemetery with pallbearers being Lester and Carl Daniels, Lynn Villines, Kelly Asher, Preston Ford, and James Wilson. Honorary pallbearers are her grandchildren and Mary Daniels.
Anyone can wear pink to the service in honor of Ona.
