IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Nova Linness

April 3, 1950 – June 12, 2019
Nova Linness Bower, 69, of Western Grove, Arkansas, passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at NARMC in Harrison, Arkansas.
She was born April 3, 1950, in Harrison, Arkansas, the youngest daughter of Claude Melvin and Pairlee (Flud) Bolin.
She was a retired Cosmetologist and part time instructor at the Harrison School of Cosmetology. Before that she worked various jobs, raised rabbits and picked cherries during the summer in California and Washington with her family.
Nova loved the Lord and singing for Him, especially 'This Little Light of Mine'. Her heart's desire was to be in church and with her family. She attended Delmar Bolin's Church and the Piercetown Holiness Church in Newton County. She never missed an opportunity to witness for the Lord.
She enjoyed playing the guitar and piano, knitting and sewing, making desserts for her family, traveling across the US, swimming at the river with her grandkids, listening to her children and grandchildren sing, play music and preach.
She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant; three sisters, Pauline (Clay) Flud, Ova (Junior) Bruce, and Claudia Faye Donley (Ernest); two brothers, an infant and Delmar (Norma Jean) Bolin; brother-n-law, James Smith; and grandson, Josiah David Bower.
Survivors are her daughter, Deloris (Farren) Smith, of Hasty; her son, Dewight (Sherry) Bower of Piercetown, her former spouse Euill Lee Bower; brother, Calvin (Judy) Bolin of Piercetown; sisters, Lovedia Smith of Batavia, and Katherine (Frankie) Spears of Piercetown; grandchildren, Jonathan Smith, Jeremiah Smith, Shawn (Lydia) Bower, Breanna (Cody) Bartlett, and Trenton Malone; three great-grandchildren, Seth, Jasmine, and Natalie; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, June 15, 2019 at Piercetown Holiness Church. Burial will follow at Carver Cemetery.
