Obituary
Thomas Norman Martin, age 71 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison.
The son of William Thomas and Dorothy Mae (Gay) Martin was born February 7, 1939 in Harrison.
He was of the Pentecostal faith. He loved to read and guitars.
His parents preceded him in death, along with two sisters, Vonnie Trammell and Mary Rogers and one brother, Albert Martin.
Survivors are his wife, Betty (Young) Martin of the home; son, Gerald Martin of Harrison; brother, Ken Martin of Harrison; sisters, Joyce Reed of Harrison, Bonita Kellam of Kaw City, Oklahoma, Jeannie Beckwith of Green Forest, Arkansas, and Barbara Barkley of DeValls Bluff, Arkansas; grandchildren, Samuel Raver, Randel Raver, and Lorraina Pence; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation was Friday, April 16, 2010 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.
The funeral service was Saturday, April 17, 2010 at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial was in Maple Leaf Cemetery with pallbearers being, Randy Martin, Bobby Henderson, Dean Journagan, Samuel Raver, Ben McEntire, and John Paul Blankenship. Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Roy Lee, Ron Lee, Brandon Lee, Gus Smith, Bob Cooper, and the men of First Assembly of God Church.
