Obituary

Norman Edward Lasko, of Harrison, passed away on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center.  He was 96 years old.

The son of John and Anastasia "Anna" (Dembrauskas) Lasko was born on December 22, 1925 in Rock, Michigan.

Norman was a veteran of the Army Air Corps during World War II.  He was a bombardier and later an airplane instrument mechanic. He was stationed in Enid, Oklahoma.  He married Margaret Zemke on September 2, 1950 in Chicago, IL.  Together, they had four children.  He attended art school in Chicago.  He worked as a professional artist for many years, even owning his own art business and was commissioned by several major corporations.  His love of art continued as a hobby after his retirement.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Lasko; his parents; two children, David and Linda; and two sisters, Gladys and Bernice.

Survivors include three grandchildren, Victor, Jason and Dianna; niece, Diane Brittian-Wilson; nephews, Doug and Greg; great niece, Tracy; great great niece, Brigitte; great great nephew, Kade; 15 great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, March 26, 2022 at Lakeland Baptist Church, in Omaha, at 11:00 AM.  Burial with Military Honors will follow the service at Lakeland Cemetery.
