Norman Cross, age 63 of Mt. Judea, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, October 16, 2008 at his home. He was born April 21, 1945 at Cave Creek, the son of Berlin and Ethel (Dean) Cross.
He was of the Pentecostal faith and was a member of the Lick Creek Church. He had worked for Anchor Die Cast in Harrison and was a lifetime resident of Newton County.
His parents preceded him in death, along with one son, Lucas Cross; two brothers, Denver and Dennis Cross.
Survivors are his wife, Margaret (Crumpler) Cross of the home; his childen, Norman Gene Cross of Mt. Judea, Anna Marie Rudder of Lead Hill, William Skipper of Georgia, Pete Skipper of Florida, Mae Henson and Ellen Childress of Cave Creek, Susie Ivey of Alabama, Connie Breed of Georgia; two brothers, Dale Cross of Dogpatch and Wayne Cross of Western Grove; three sisters, Mildred Horn of Western Grove, Ruthie Shatwell of Harrison and Florene Robinson of Diamond City; eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Visitation was Friday, October 17, 2008 at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper. Services were Saturday, October 18, 2008 at Hasty Holiness Church with Bro. Charles Christian officiating. Burial followed at Mt. Judea Cemetery. Pallbearers were Gene Cross, Junior Campbell, Junior Henson, Victor Henson, Danny Smith, Joe Royce, Brad Eddings and Dale Price. Honorary pallbearers were Legacy Hospice Nurses, Betty Christian, Dr. Olsen and staff, Roy Henson, Dr. Klepper, Dr. Chitsey and Dr. Abdelaal.
