Obituary

Norman D. Burns, age 79 of Harrison, passed away Friday, March 20, 2015 at Washington Regional Hospital in Fayetteville, AR.

The son of Samuel Abraham and Hettie Moette (McElroy)Burns was born November 10, 1935 in Snowball, Arkansas.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Willie Burns.

Norman is survived by his wife, Sue (Offenbacker) Burns of Harrison; his sons, Sam Burns of Springfield, Mo and Frank Burns of Strafford, MO; his daughters, Shauna Stenhoff of Walnut Grove, MO, Sandra Collins of Everett, Washington, and Clara Smith of West Memphis, AR; his sister, Georgia Nunnally of Forrest Park, GA; two brothers, Joe Burns of Russellville, AR and Frank Burns of West Memphis, AR; his grandchildren, Casey, Shayla, Ryan, Jeremy, John, Tyler, Alicia, Sean, and Rosalie; and great-grandchildren, Gavin Burns, Scarlett and Evanessa.

Funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Wednesday prior to the service. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Frank Burns, Sam Burns, John Nauss, Tyler Collins, Jeremy Burns, and Ryan Stenhoff.
