Norma Russell, age 84, of Harrison, Arkansas went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 9, 2022.

The daughter of William and Fannie Mae (Gipson) Hodge was born in Morton, Arkansas on June 10, 1938.

She worked as a bookkeeper for Amerigas Propane for over 20 years until she retired.  She was a member of Bellefonte Church of Christ, where she enjoyed attending with her daughter.

Norma loved the Lord and being in church when she was able.  She loved having family and friends over to celebrate holidays and special occasions.  She enjoyed reading, sewing, and quilting.  She was an excellent cook, and everyone loved her pies. Norma had a big, caring heart, and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.  She loved her kids unconditionally, and especially loved her grandkids and great grands.  She loved her dogs; she and Gerald enjoyed the company of many beloved pets over the years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband and the love of her life, Gerald Russell; a son, Jeff Russell, and two sisters, Thelma and Elsie.

Norma is survived her daughter, Rebecca Brisco and husband Tom; her son, Scott Russell; three grandchildren, Jason Brisco and wife, Natasha, Jantzen Russell and Tyler Russell; three great grandchildren, Brittany Brown and husband, Joshua, Kelly Ann Russell and Bayleigh Grace Russell; and one great-great grandson, Baylor Brown; her siblings and their spouses, Donna and Jack Proctor and Billy and Linda Hodge, and a host of extended relatives and many dear friends who loved her and will miss her.

At her request, private burial will be held at a later date.
