Obituary
Norma McElroy Martin, born March 1, 1929, passed peacefully from this life at age 82 on May 20, 2011, at her home in Bellefonte, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Rue (Sherrill) McElroy of Snowball, Arkansas.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 63 years, Delmar H. (Shorty) Martin and her three sisters: Nadine McCutcheon and husband Cecil, of Tioga, Louisiana, Shirley Phillips and husband Hubert, of Harrison, Arkansas, and Laveda Curtis and husband Donald, of Harrison, Arkansas, brother-in-law, Delbert Martin of Harrison, Arkansas, and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family received friends at the Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison, Arkansas Sunday evening, May 22, 2011. Funeral service was held in the chapel at the funeral home Monday, May 23, 2011. Rev. Roy Barnhill and Rev. Kevin Cox officiated. Interment was in Maplewood Cemetery.
