Norma Jean James, age 80 of Western Grove, Arkansas passed away Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
The daughter of Richard P. and Jean R. (Everett) Redman was born on May 2, 1936 in Chesapeake City, Maryland. She was the greatest Mom, a housewife and had moved to Newton County in 1974 from Virginia.
She was preceded in death by her parents Richard and Jean Redman and a sister Patricia Powell.
Survivors are her husband of 65 years, John F. James, Jr. of Western Grove, Arkansas; three sons Ricky James of Anna, Texas, John F. James III of Western Grove, Arkansas and Billy James of Savannah, Georgia; one daughter Toni Dipper of Burnsville, North Carolina; sixteen grandchildren, thirty-two great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1 P.M. Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper with Brother Shannon Morris officiating. Burial will follow in the Moore Cemetery at Ben Hur, Arkansas under the direction of Coffman Funeral Home of Jasper.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 P.M. Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper.
Pallbearers will be Darrell King, Logan King, Travis James, Brent Cross, Alex Bravo, Dustin Rogan, Brandon Cross and Stephen James. Honorary pallbearers are the staff of Newton County Nursing Home.
