Norma Lee Freeman, age 78 of Peel, Arkansas passed away September 6, 2016 at home.
The daughter of Manford Jack and Thelma (Bowen) Williams was born in El Dorado Springs, Arkansas on August 15, 1938.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Terri Lynn Post, a sister, Sue; a brother, Loyd "Butch"; nephew, J.R.; two nieces, Lana and Eva Marie; and step-dad, Loyd Arthur Brooks.
She was a member of Welcome Ridge Church and had been living in Peel for 43 years, coming from Mt. Judea. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and was an amazing artist and poet.
Norma is survived by her husband of 43 years, Clenton "Woody" Freeman of the home; her daughter, Lorrie Budden of Walters, OK; three step-daughters, JoJo Freeman of Mt. Judea; Lorri Lapp and Pat Langston both of Harrison; two step-sons, Danny Freeman of Mt. Judea and Gerald Freeman of Lakeway; two sisters, Marilyn Merritt of Lawrence, KS and Carla Schmitt of Perry, KS; eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Harrison with Joe Inman officiating.
