Norma Jean Bolin, age 70 of Mt. Judea, passed away at her home Thursday, March 29, 2007. The daughter of Virgie and Helman(Martin) Middleton, was born May 4, 1936 at Red Rock, AR. She had been a lifelong resident of Newton County and was a homemaker. She was a co-founder of Piercetown Youth Center and enjoyed sewing and cake decorating.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Danny Lee Bolin; and two brothers, Delmar Middleton and Odell Middleton.
Surviving is her husband, Delmar Bolin of the home; two sons, Allen Bolin and wife, Joan of Jasper and Cameron Bolin of Mt. Judea; one daughter, Brenda Evans and fiance` Robert Evans of Dover; five brothers, Leon and Ricky Middleton both of Piercetown, Robert and David Middleton both of Vendor, J. H. Middleton of Western Grove; three sisters, Mary Bowers and Charline Campbell both of Piercetown and Betty Clark of Harrison; nine grandchildren, Jared, Nathan, and Jennifer Middleton, Heath, Alayne and Brittany Bolin, Amy Snyder, Angela Tennison and Joshua Bolin; four great grandchildren, Alexis, Caden and Chloe Middleton and Tabitha Snyder.
Visitation was Sunday at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper. Service was Monday at Piercetown Holiness Church with burial in Carver Cemetery. David Cross officiated.
Pallbearers were Nathan and Jared Middleton, Heath and Joshua Bolin, and Ab Phillips and Derek Tennison.
