Nola Ruth Barnett, age 92 of Harrison, Arkansas formerly of Wewoka, Oklahoma passed away Thursday, December 3, 2009 at Hillcrest Home in Harrison, Arkansas.
The daughter of Mack A. and Bessie (Smith) McCrary was born March 5, 1917 in Thomas, Oklahoma.
Mrs. Barnett was known for her sewing skills and supplied her family and the public for many years with her handiwork. She was a long time member of First Baptist Church in Wewoka. She was a loving mother, a good neighbor and a generous friend.
Her parents preceded her in death, along with her husband, James Barnett, a daughter, Lou Barnes, two brothers, and three sisters.
Survivors are her daughter, Nola Barnett of Harrison; her son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Sharon Barnett of Sand Springs, OK; granddaughters and their families, Kristi, Chris, A.J. and Kylie Enloe of Neosho, MO and Beth, Randall and Dagen Fuller of Springdale, AR; step-grandson and family, Ron, Cathie, Katie, Ryan, and Grace Evans of Claremore, OK and Ken and Lana Barnes of Neosho, MO.
Also surviving are a brother, Leonard McCrary of Dallas, TX and sisters, Maxine Zaffuto and Betty Keske of Tulsa, OK; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were Monday, December 7, 2009 at Little Cemetery near Seminole, Oklahoma under the direction of Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.
