Noel Sherman Pronger, age 81 Harrison, Arkansas passed away Monday, July 2, 2012 at Marion County Nursing Home in Yellville, Arkansas.
The son of Emery and Bessie (Blankenhorn) Pronger was born September 23, 1930 in Blue Island, Illinois.
He was a Korean War Navy Veteran and a member of the First Christian Church. He was the past Master of Boone Lodge 314 and past President of Ozark Shrine Club. He was also a Share N Care Volunteer.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Marsha Cook.
Survivors are his wife of 47 years, Ellamae "Mickey" Pronger; daughters, Melissa Harness and husband Brad of Morrillton, Arkansas and Laura Huckaby and husband Richard of Augusta, Kansas; a son-in-law, Wayne Cook of Florida; granddaughter, Allison Huckaby; grandsons, Liam Huckaby, Raeden and Devlin Harness, and Nicholas and Chadd Cook; a great-grandson, Connor Cook; sisters, Rose Bourgeous and Maredith Pronger; and a brother, Charles Pronger, all of Illinois.
Visitation was Thursday, July 5, 2012 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.
Service were Friday, July 6, 2012 at First Christian Church with Dr. David Artman officiating.
Burial followed in Maplewood Cemetery with pallbearers being Carlton Taylor, Brad Harness, Richard Huckaby, Liam Huckaby, Randy Newman, and Lex McCormick.
Honorary pallbearers were Hearthstone Sunday School Class and his Share N Care buddies.
Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church.
