Niva Freeman, age 81 of Mt. Judea, AR, passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at the Newton County Nursing Home.

The daughter of Loyde and Angie (Collins) Royce was born May 11, 1940 in Piercetown, AR.

Niva attended the Log Hall Church. She enjoyed working in her flower garden and vegetable garden.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Junior Freeman; her grandson, Bryan McCutcheon; and 3 brothers, Clayton, Dale. and Kenneth Royce.

Niva is survived by her daughter, Ann Clark and husband Larry of Jasper, AR; her son Clayton Freeman and wife Shelley of Bass, AR; her brother, Joe Royce and wife Genice of Bass, AR; her sister-in-law, Carol Royce of Piercetown, AR; her grandchildren, Breana Jo Bower, Britney Bruce, and Josh Freeman;  and her great grandchildren, Paige, Cole, Dylan, Dawson, Lucas, Ella, and Zavan.

Graveside service will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Smith Cemetery in Vendor, AR with Pastor Anthony Bower officiating.

Pallbearers will be Cole Bower, Dylan Bruce, Bob Freeman, Kenny Royce, Nathan Royce, and Stanley Royce.

There will be no visitation.
