Chef Nicholas Bottini went to his heavenly home on September 5, 2024.
Nick was born in Stockton, CA to Albert and Joan Bottini.
He attended Saint Mary's Catholic School and graduated from the Culinary Institute of America. He then moved to the beautiful Ozark Mountains, started his restaurant in Harrison, AR, and then moved to Jasper.
He and his wife Marie opened what is famous to most Low Gap Café. He was loved by all that truly knew him.
Nick is survived by his wife, Marie Bottini; his sons, Taylor Bottini and wife Lauren, Andrew Bottini and wife Becca, and Chris Hinkey and wife Julia; his daughters, Summer Martinez and Kayla Cahow; his grandchildren, Isaac Stephens, Brandon Martinez, Abigail Martinez, Julius Hinkey, Sophia Hinkey, Gabriel Hinkey, Salem Bottini, Chase Cahow and Kloe Cahow; and his great-grandchild, Taylon Lilliana Martinez.
He is also survived by his brothers, Mark Bottini, and Steve Bottini; his sister, Karie Wilson; his sisters-in-law, Larua Bottini and Kim Bottini; and many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be at the Low Gap Cafe in Jasper, AR at 2:00 PM, Sunday, September 22, 2024.
