Obituary
Nellie Reddell of Jasper, AR passed away Friday, January 19, 2007, at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison, AR at the age of 85.
The daughter of Hugh and Daisy (Brown) Raney, was born January 14, 1922 at Mt. Sherman, AR. She was preceded in death by her parents, along with two husbands, Charles Kilgore and Henry Reddell; a daughter, Charlene Clark; a brother and two sisters.
Nellie was a lifelong resident of Newton County and had worked for the telephone company. She enjoyed bowling, bingo, and going to the Senior Center in Jasper, where she was an excellent fundraiser.
Survivors include her children, Genie King of Harrison, Judy Yocham and her husband, Lonny of Adair, OK, Carolyn Boswell and her husband, Billy of Jasper, and Ronnie Reddell and his wife, Judy of Freeman, MO; brothers, Franklin Raney of Theodore, AL and Jether Raney of Jasper; seven grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; numerous nieces, and nephews, and many many friends.
Services were Tuesday, January 23, at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Jasper with Raymond White officiating. Burial was in Jasper Cemetery. Pallbearers were her grandsons. Honorary pallbearers were granddaughters and the E. Ritter employees. Visitation was Monday, January 22, at the funeral home.
