Obituary
Nancy Lee Honer, age 47 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away Thursday, January 19, 2012 at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.
The daughter of Cecil and Terry Lynn (Dewyer) Kolb, she was born April 15, 1964 in Harrison.
She graduated from Jasper High School.
She was energetic and loved to camp, cook and shop. She loved her family and was happiest spending time with family and friends. She was thrilled to become a "Nana" and spent many hours with her precious Paislee. She was always bubbly and her contagious laughter will be sorely missed.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Harrison, and as a born again Christian served her Lord in many capacities including as the Cheer Coordinator and coach for Upwards Cheerleading.
She was employed by FedEx, formerly American Freightways, for 19 years, and most recently worked in Information Technology as a Project Manager.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Terry Lynn Kolb.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Thomas Honer of the home; her father, Cecil Kolb of Marble Falls, AR; her children, son, Brandon Honer and wife Meagan of Harrison; son, Clayton Honer of the home; and step-son, Tate Honer of Harrison; brother, Wayne Kolb and wife Tabitha of Marble Falls, AR;mother-in-law Betty Honer of Bergman, AR; sister-in-law, Carol Davis and husband Marty of Harrison, AR; one granddaughter, Paislee Michelle Honer; nephews, Jacob and Peyton; a niece, Bailey; and a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.
Visitation was Monday, January 23, 2012 with funeral service Tuesday, January 24, 2012, both at the First Baptist Church in Harrison with Pastor Rob Davis officiating, accompanied by Rodney Stromlund.
Burial followed in White Church Cemetery with pallbearers being Bob Cash, Paul Hutcheson, Mike Armstrong, Eddie Powell, Dan Bowers, and Gerald Kolb.
Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Tom Leslie, John Sherman, Norma Cutler, Ronda Nichols, Mike Moore, Jeff Atkinson, Jonesy Davis and the Sunday School Class of Terri Coats.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donations to the Nancy Lee Honer memorial fund in care of Paislee Michelle Honer at Community First Bank of Harrison.
