Obituary
Nancy Ann Downey, age 74 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away Thursday, December 20, 2012 at Twin Lakes Nursing Home in Flippin, Arkansas.
The daughter of Francis and Marie (Hubbell) Abbott was born August 3, 1938 at Glenwood, Iowa.
She was formerly an Accountant for the State of California and was a homemaker.
She attended CrossRoads Community Church and was always volunteering to help people. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, cooking, and tutoring.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Scott Savage; and a brother and sister-in-law, Fred and Tina Abbott.
Survivors are her husband, Steve Downey of the home; sons, Brian Abbott and wife Mary Ellen of Petaluma, California and Mike Popovich and wife Jana of Elk Grove, California; a sister, Karen Abbott of Twin Falls, Idaho; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be 6-8 P.M. Wednesday, December 26, 2012 with the service 10 A.M. Thursday, December 27, 2012 both at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison with Rev. Johnny Walters officiating.
Burial will follow in Maple Leaf Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
