Nadine Grigsby Berry, age 75 of Harrison, left her earthly home to join her Heavenly Family on Wednesday, June 10, 2008 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center.
The daughter of Jim Lee and Juanita Treasa Grigsby, she was born at Radell, Arkansas on April 11, 1933. She grew up in Malvern and lived in Missouri, California and Florida before living in Doniphan, Missouri for over 30 years. She then moved to Harrison in November 2006.
She spent most of her working career in food service and catering. For 16 years, she worked in home health care, providing comfort and compassion to those who needed her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Bonnie Jones; nieces, Linda, Treasa and nephew, Richard.
Survivors include her brothers, Jerald Myers of Malvern, Jim D. Grigsby of Harrison, and Wayne Grigsby of Williamsburg, Virginia; sisters, Debra Keef and Patsy Jergens both of Harrison; children, Shery of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Grace of Cape Coral, Florida, Joel Berry of Doniphan, Missouri and Teresa of Ft. Lewis, Washington; six grandchildren, Ramey, Jeffrey, Jacob, Emily, Brian, and Sara; one great grandchild, Skylar along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Sam Scroggins and staff; emergency room staff; hospital staff; staff of Golden Living Center Harrison Nursing Home.
Visitation was Friday, June 13, 2008. Services were held Saturday, June 14, 2008 at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Harrison. Cremation to follow.
