Virga Nadean Savage, age 73, of Harrison, AR passed away Saturday, February 17, 2007, at her home.
The daughter of Charlie Austin and Lavon (Doss) Smith, was born February 14, 1934 near Berryville, AR. Her parents preceded her in death, along with a sister, Pansy Klingkammer; and a brother, Willis Wayne Smith.
She had worked for Emerson Electric and was a homemaker. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Harrison.
Survivors are her husband, Rex Savage, Sr. of the home; sons, Wayne Curry and Rex Savage, Jr. and his wife, Rebekah; daughters, Gayla and her husband, Kenny, Cathleen Savage, and Tammi Savage, all of Harrison; sister, Lois Thornton of Rosemond, CA; grandchildren, Stacey Curry, Magan Curry, Michelle Sandy, Tyler Savage, and Elisha Savage; and a great grandson, Jaden Holt.
Visitation was Monday, Feburary 19 at Coffman Funeral Home. Service was Tuesday at Faith Baptist Church with Bro. Rex Savage, Jr., Bro. James Allmond, and Bro. James Watt, officiating. Burial was in Smith Cemetery at Harrison with Kenny Sandy, Wayne Curry, Tyler Savage, Tim Hicks, Timmy Hicks, Jeremy Allmond, and Harold Sherrill serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were the men of Faith Baptist Church and Dr. Geoffrey Dunaway.
