Obituary
Myrtle Marie (Saylors) Jewell passed away May 27, 2012 at Jefferson Nursing Home in Lees Summit, Missouri.
The daughter of Walter and Myrtle Bulah Ann (Foresee) Saylors was born Sept. 8, 1938 at their home in Monarch, Arkansas. She attended Lead Hill School and graduated as Salutatorian in 1956. She then moved to Kansas City, Missouri, where she worked and retired from AT&T.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband Dean Jewell; her daughter Sheila Marie Jewell; brothers W. O. Saylors, J. O. Saylors, Cleo Saylors, R. O. Saylors and Arlo Saylors.
She is survived by her brothers Conro Saylors of Zinc, Arkansas, Leo Saylors and wife Katie of Lead Hill, Arkansas; sisters Kathryn Franks of Harrison, Arkansas and Mary Lou Stout of Kansas City, Missouri; Sisters-in-law Vemer Saylors of Lead Hill, Arkansas, Bonnie Saylors of Phoenix, Arizona and Oleta Saylors of Zinc, Arkansas.
Services was held Thursday, May 31 at Lead Hill Church of Christ with Ervin Curtis officiating. Burial was in Milum Cemetery at Lead Hill. Visitation was Wednesday at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison, Arkansas.
Pallbearers were Donro Saylors, Stevin Saylors, Joseph Saylors, Kelly Blankenship, Cody Blankenship and Josh Saylors.
