Mitchell Lynn Valentine, Sr., age 64, of Bellefonte, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2024 at Willard Walker Hospice House in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

The son of Carl E. and Ernestine "Tina" (Young) Valentine was born on July 29, 1959 in Harrison, Arkansas at the Boone County Hospital.

Mitchell loved hunting and fishing and his biggest goal was to always beat last years record.

He started out as a route man with his dad at Shipley Bread Co. and went from there to opening up the Eagle Snacks route in this area, two years on a Borden Ice Cream route then expanded to Hiland Dairy here in Harrison from several years.  He went to work for Andy Yeager selling cars for over a decade and met a lot of folks who became friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl Valentine and Ernestine (Valentine) Tabor; and two brothers, Michael and Gary Valentine.

Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Connie Valentine; two sons, Mitch Valentine, Jr. and wife, Taylor, and Cody Valentine; two sisters, Shari Valentine and Sheila (Valentine) Wilkes and husband, Evan; four grandchildren, Hailey, Dylan, Presliee, and River; and a host of extended relatives and many friends who loved him and will miss him.

The greatest achievement of Mitchell's life was giving his heart to God before he left this earth and making amends that has brought his family closer together than ever before.

Visitation is Monday, April 22, 2024 at Coffman Funeral Home of Harrison from 5:00 to 7:00 PM

Funeral Service will be Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at Coffman Funeral Home of Harrison at 2:00 PM.  Pastor Dewey McGarrah will officiate. Burial will be at Crawford Cemetery.  Pallbearers are Aaron Gray, Justin Millsap, Ben Sutton, Zack Terrill, John Hicks, and Wes Waldon.
