Minnie Mae (Bumgardner) Green, age 95 of Everton, Arkansas passed away Sunday, April 17, 2016 at Harrison, Arkansas.
The daughter of Autry Cecil and Minnie (Reeves) Bumgardner was born August 11, 1920 at Menard, Texas.
She married William O. (Bill) Green in Sterling County, Texas. He was the county sheriff and she served as a deputy in the sheriff's office. In 1960, after retiring they moved to Boone County to live the remainder of their lives. She was a member of the Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, a daughter and son-in-law, Bernice and Herman Smith and a brother, Carl Bumgardner.
Minnie is survived by her son, Joe and Carolyn Green of Valley Springs; a daughter, Billie and Allen Young of Valley Springs; a sister, Billie Lou and Rudolph Tapley of Oklahoma; a brother, Arthur Bumgardner of Texas; seven grandchildren, Pam and David Grimes of Russellville, Justin Green of Mountain Home, Thomas Smith of Harrison, James Bennett and Kathy Long of Santa Clara, California, Kim and Shawn Shelton of Big Flat, Ron and Lisa Young of Rogers, Sandy and Phillip Roberts of Harrison; 9 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandsons and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at Coffman Chapel in Harrison. Burial will follow at Crawford Cemetery.
Services will be officiated by Joe Green and her family will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be open at Coffman Funeral Home from 8am-5pm.
