Mildred Marie Rowe Poston, of Harrison, Arkansas, passed away at home on Thursday, November 11, 2021, at the age of 80.
The daughter of Walter Lee Henry Curby and Liddy J. (Samson) Curby was born on May 15, 1941 in Westville, Florida. She moved to Harrison 20 years ago from South Carolina.
Mildred was very devout in her faith. She loved the Lord and reading her bible. She enjoyed collecting many things and also loved flower and vegetable gardening. She kept her home spotless and was obsessed with ironing everything. Mildred was determined in her efforts and a very hard worker, who never met a stranger.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Bonnie Poston; infant son, Michael A. Rowe; her first husband, Frank A. Rowe, Sr.; two infants; a granddaughter, Jessica Carboni Funk; a great granddaughter, Barbara Crumbley; grandson, Michael James Rowe Faulkenberry; her second husband, Buddy Poston and her siblings, Ola Mae Baggett, Clifton Curby, Lillian "Punk" Idell McKenzie, Hairlon "Sankum" Curby, Clifford Ray Curby, and Mallow Dean Hurst.
Mildred is survived by her children, Frank A. Rowe, Jr.(Debbie Ellis), Linda Sander (Gus, Sr.), Brittanie Harris (Jerry), Brenda Anthony (Kurt Meier) and Don Poston; 12 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren; a host of step children, and step grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be at 1 PM, Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Harrison with Pastor Willie Bousquet officiating. Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 PM – 7 PM at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are Don Poston, Hunter Crumbley, Shawn Howell, Jason Crumbley, Jerry Harris and James Poston. Honorary pallbearer is Allen Rowe.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice House in Mildred's memory.
