Obituary

Mildred Nichols Royce, age 93 of Mount Judea, Arkansas died Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at the Newton County Nursing Home in Jasper, Arkansas.

She was born in Mount Judea on April 5, 1920 to George Washington Campbell and Thenia Parley (Foster) Campbell.

Mildred was a devout Christian and a member of the Log Hall Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Bee Thomas Nichols and Casal Graydon Royce; brothers, Delbert, Herbert, Lunie, George, and Binum Campbell, Troy Tennison and Matthew Tennison, Jr.; sisters, Walsie Campbell Hammond, Grace Campbell Scientti and Lillian Rich.

Survivors include her son, Gary Nichols (Maxine) of Mount Judea; her daughter, Charlene Nichols Hamm (Jack) of Russellville; stepsons, David Royce (Nina) of Piercetown, Danny Royce (Jana) of Harrison and Jimmy Royce of Harrison; stepdaughters, Terry Royce of Harrison and Judy Royce Cross (Jimmy) of Mount Judea; numerous friends, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral service was Friday, October 11, 2013 at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Jasper with Jim Bohannon officiating. Burial followed in Mount Judea Cemetery.

Visitation was Thursday, October 10, 2013 at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper.

Pallbearers were Charles Campbell, Hugene Campbell, Donnie Campbell, Glen Campbell, Corey Royce and Alton Campbell.
